During the .com boom when the advancements in technology had more sceptics then pioneers we saw the huge advantages of open protocols that allowed the transfer of information around the globe without borders in an instantaneous manner.
We went on to lay the foundations of these technologies in businesses, some with sceptics insisting that they would never abandon existing infrastructure such as snail mail in favour of email. We can tell you that revisiting this topic the sector has never looked back and completely embraced protocols enabling the internet of information.
